Foodie Finds!

Hello big world! Thank you for all the support and for visiting my page. I am looking forward to sharing my thoughts and ideas within my website.

This post will be sharing brief adventures with my foodie finds! The first image you see is a scoop of rice topped with a well-cooked block of tofu that includes tomatoes, spinach, zucchini, and squash on top with veggies and bread on the side. This was a dinner option at a library conference I attended a couple years ago.

The next is a cup of spicy mango sorbet that I bought from a restaurant close to my place of work called La Michoacana Premier in Middletown, OH. One of my favorite ice cream location finds so far!

Next is less to do with the food itself, but I ran into a danger zone while picking blackberries at a local farm this summer. Though it was an amazing experience to pick 4-5 POUNDS of blackberries, I left this section alone for these little guys to enjoy.

Lastly, you’ll see an image of a drink and what appears to be a corndog. These are from a place called Izakaya located inside the Fairfield Commons Mall in Beavercreek, OH. This is no typical corn dog, but what’s commonly known as a Korean corn dog. Instead of a hot dog in the center, you can choose to either have your center a sausage, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, or a half and half combo of any of these choices! Alongside normal corn dog breading, you can choose to add chunks of fried potato or fried ramen. They also allow topping such as mayo, spicy mayo, hot cheetos dusting, honey, hot honey, and many more! I visit this place about once a month and the food and people never let me down.

That’s all for now folks!
