Welcome to Generations Remembered

This website is a digital home for the photographs, documents, keepsakes, and stories of our grandparents. It’s a place where family history comes together, making it easier for all of us to access and enjoy.

Here, you’ll find scanned photos, letters, and other mementos from their lives, along with audio recordings of Grandma and Grandpa sharing their thoughts and memories. The goal is to capture the feeling of sitting with them, flipping through an old album, and hearing the stories behind the images.

This project was created to:

  • Preserve and share our family’s history and culture.
  • Make these cherished items accessible to everyone in our far-flung family.
  • Provide a space for Grandma and Grandpa to share their experiences and insights.
  • Offer a chance to learn more about our family in an engaging way.

I hope you’ll enjoy exploring this collection and discovering the many pieces of our shared story.

A Note on Names

In order to maintain clarity and consistency, pictured individuals throughout the site have been referred to by their given first names, rather than relying on relational terms like “aunt” or “grandpa” that change depending on generation. Surnames are provided for more distant relatives. Check out the directory to see who is featured on the site and the names used for them.
